Master Recoil: The Align Tactical® THUMB REST TRIGGER PIN integrates an ergonomic ledge for the support hand’s thumb to firmly lock down against, serving as a brake against muzzle flip to provide the fastest follow-up sight picture. Increased surface contact with the pistol reduces support hand slippage while providing an index point for a consistent high thumbs-forward grip. Secure Design: The Thumb Rest Trigger Pin utilizes a patented forked design that leverages the disassembly channel’s (opening) as an insertion point for accepting an anti-rotation stop. Pushing the trigger pin partially out (of an UNLOADED PISTOL), allows the anti-rotation stop to clear the disassembly channel so the slide lock can be pulled down for normal disassembly.
Retained in Place: Glock® Trigger Pins incorporate grooves that are retained by the slide stop under spring tension. Two shallow grooves are engaged by GEN 5® ambidextrous slide stops vs. a single deep groove for legacy generations.
Lift to Disengage: For easier pin removal, lift the slide stop to help center it to the pin grooves. Push the Trigger Pin out with a punch or use the Thumb Rest Trigger Pin itself to swap. NOTE: Initial removal may require a bit of pressure.
Rotate to Clear: For pistol disassembly, “partially” back out the Trigger Pin to free the anti-rotation stop from the slide lock channel and rotate down to clear. Push back in to re-install on a fully assembled pistol (AFTER slide is attached), to lock in place.
Compatibility: Align Tactical® has enhanced the product line with two key features to determine compatibility: Groove (DEPTH) on the trigger pin, and (DISTANCE) between the trigger pin to the opening in the slide lock disassembly channel.
